Одним із ключових засобів сучасної освіти є дистанційне навчання. Особливо воно ефективне в системі вищих навчальних закладів і в системі підвищення професійної кваліфікації фахівців. Нині високоякісне дистанційне навчання має широке розповсюдження в більшості країн світу, серед яких не лише розвинені країни, а й ті, що розвиваються. Дистанційну форму навчання необхідно використовувати як одну з ключових засад успішного реформування української освіти.
